We reached NY on the Friday evening and the city was buzzing the normal way, flooded with cars and masti all around. We got off on the Canal Street on the Manhattan Bridge. The journey started with searching for the "R" Train, me and Angel started walking 5 blocks down on China Town towards the subway. After catching the train we boarded the train but ooopsss i forgot to pick the address and phone number back in Boston. I saw Angel's face she looked tired and GOD how can i do this? What I did remember was the 'Woodheaven Blvd' and we at last managed to enter the right house after buzzing on the wrong door.

'The Indian' dinner was already waiting for us on the table and all were excited to meet Angelica the 'New Bahoo' (though we are no more new and have been married for over seven months). I saw my grandma's sister, my bua and phoopha ji, all much more older than i saw them the last time, but with the same love and affection. We all sat down on the dinner table and I was getting anxious and excited to start the food or rather was ready for gluttony. After I satisfied my pallettes we konked off.
The next morning was a great, bright and sunny and perfectly apt to roam in NYC. We were tired and got up bit late as the bed was cozy and comfortable. We left Queens and took a subway train to Winhall ST which was nearest to Liberty. Angelica was excited after getting off and her eyes got broader after seeing the real NY with those big buildings of Wall

street and NYSE. Ferry to Liberty was absolutely fun, and the funniest part was that when people board the ferry they fought was place to sit and when ferry moves in the Ocean towards the Liberty and Ellis they fight to get their places next to fence to see the Manhattan (which is a view you could die for) and NY skyline behind them....we all clicked a lot of picture on our way to liberty. After reaching the island we were lucky to get the free tickets to climb inside the statue of Liberty. Poor angelica was really tired by that time. We got the tickets and never wanted to leave the opportunity to see the statue from inside. We went inside after all the security checks and came to know that the lift was not working and we had to climb 156 stairs to reach on top of the statue base. After thinking for 5-10 min, we decided to climb up and after all the struggle we reached on the base to experience the story behind making of liberty.
We left the place and took the ferry back to NYC, no no we didn't go to the Elise Island. The next on the cards was our old famous bull of Wall Street, we visited NYSE also. We clicked some pictures there and went to the train station to catch the train to Times square. We walked on the Broadway and climbed on "top of the rock" the Rockefeller centre to see the NYC from top of the hub. The city was glowing in the dark. It was too late by that time we wanted to reach home quickly and came out and went to 49th ST 'T' station but the station was closed. Angelica was really tired but we had to walk down 10 blocks on 59th ST to take the train. Finally, we reached home at around 10 PM finishing our one day in NY which i will remember for a long long time.
